Agreed there, but they've been overachieving and we've been massively underachieving as far as size of the two respective clubs go. Only logical we met somewhere in the middle

I agree but if we are after him then that is the sort of fee it will cost. Most of the English players in the league are failures from League 1 and 2 which doesn't say much for the standard he has been playing against though they did do well in Champions League by their own poor standards.

I'd be interested to know who they played in the cups, I think he got 5CL goals which is decent and I think he got 5 the the Old Firms, I dont know how many of them were league or cup though. If a lot of them were in Scottish cups he could have basically been playing Sunday league sides. I think enough came in the actual league to take him seriously but it is an appalling standard of league
