At least 100 million quid there.Keane, Gibson and VVD would be ideal. Let go Jagielka and Mori then.
And then we need a GK NO 10 ,LB
Has Bill finally found the Arteta money. ???

With Wilshere, Sturridge, Shaw and Hart all available in the summer, we'd be foolish not to gobble em up.
Supposedly being linked with Spurs mate if Man City go in for Danny Rose.
Trippier linked......Spurs back up right back, that not a bit of a 'meh' signing ??
I think he's decent myself Pabbers
No, no, maybe, no.With Wilshere, Sturridge, Shaw and Hart all available in the summer, we'd be foolish not to gobble em up.
I can see where you are coming from, but do you actually think we can get the likes of koulibaly and VVD to come here when either could have the pick of champions league teams. I'm not being pessimistic just realistic, Keane and Gibson as it stands would be a serious upgrade on our present defence. If Keane is the level we are going for in the summer 7th is the best we will do, AGAIN
Time to put up or shut up from Moshiri

Few reasons this is harsh
Firstly, I think Keane has been absolutely top class this season and there are teams above us who would like him but he's more likely to choose us because he wants to play
Secondly, he'll cost £25m or so, regardless of what anyone thinks, we have limits to what we are allowed to spend because of FFP, so if we want to get better quickly, we need to not put all of our eggs in one basket on the likes of a VVD
Thirdly, there are six teams above us that are seen as bigger and better teams than us. Look at the way Man City built over the first couple of years they had money, I've posted this before but these are some of the players they signed in the first two seasons after they won the lottery:
Shay Given
Craig Bellamy
Gareth Barry
Wayne Bridge
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Adam Johnson
Joleon Lescott
Tal Ben Haim
Roque Santa Cruz
It's very difficult to suddenly get huge established stars to join you. You need to build up first, and the most logical way to do that is to buy the obtainable players who will improve you until you're at a level where you can start looking to go and buy the top players. We're not there yet and getting impatient about it doesn't do anyone any favours.
