We need Rooney
I said this to someone on Saturday after their 3rd goal. For anyone wondering why we'd bring Rooney back? well that's why. He's a winner and would have at least been up for it (in the right way) and not overwhelmed by the occassion. He'd have grabbed the likes of Ross & Tom early on and told them to calm down and play their game rather than try and Dogs of War it and he would have been a leader. He may not be the player he was, we may have better players in the team already but none of them - including Rom have his mentality. We need Rooney
Seen the odd game in the premier when he hasn't stood out for me. Watched the England U21s v Germany recently and he was the worst player on the pitch.Am i the only one who rates Ben Chilwell ? i think he would be perfect to come in and start to slowly take over baines the lads 20 years old and i cant see him being too expensive

He's only 20 so would be foolish to write him off. But 2 years ago I rated Garbutt more highly than I do Chilwell, and he's fallen off a cliff since.
Liking Zabaleta shout as a one year cover for Coleman. Didn't realise he was out of contract in the summer.Zabaleta on a Bosman is a good shout.
I would take Rooney on a free, 2 year deal at around £120k a week - nothing more.
Keane would be great at around £20m - much better than the likes of that Kone from Sunderland
We still need a keeper, another centre-half, another left back etc. Over to you Walsh
Williams has not been as good as I expected him to be, but he hasn't been the disaster than many on here are suggesting. He needs the right defender alongside him in a back 4 and at the moment we don't have it. Ideally, we need to bring in two CBs in the summer with Williams as first back up.This has been our problem. Last season we though an experience player like Williams would be great for us. He has not. Rooney will be same.
We need to stop this mentality of looking for experience, and actually go some young, exciting players.
Pickford and Keane need to be the first in the door.
Who is Gibson mateKeane, Gibson and VVD would be ideal. Let go Jagielka and Mori then.
