And that's fair enough but the top brass at other clubs and plenty of fans around the world aren't going to go by all that and value a player based on that are they. If Chelsea thought he was worth that, they'd of thrown that at us by now wouldn't they. Clearly they don't believe he's worth anywhere near £100m.

Think your missing the point mate.... he's probably not worth 100 mil, he's probably worth 70-80 but that's completely irrelevant, him wanting to leave is also irrelevant.

The only relevant points are these

We don't want to sell him
We don't need to sell him
If anyone wants him then they have to pay a world record fee.
We value him at 100 mil, if no one matches that value or very close 90+(even then I'm not sure) he won't be sold.

What's he worth compared to other players is irrelevant, it's what someone will pay to buy him but again that has to match our valuation.
