please spend vast amounts on attackers please everton. The defence needs a bit of work obviously, but we need to focus more on goals, killing teams off like tonight, we could have buried that game after an hour but we got so scared when we got into their 3rd, same as with the RS and in both games our solitary goal has come from a centre back from a corner being assisted by another centre back.
 
Assuming the likelihood of us having around £70-100 million to spend in the summer I can certainly see us targetting 3-4 £7-12 million on top of 2/3 £15-20 million players coming in when you realise we need

1x GK
2x CB
1x RB
1x LB

2x Strikers

We'll get around £30-40 million in from player sales or around £100-120 million if Rom is also sold so there is no excuse not to be spending around the £100 million mark as this summer is the one where we have to start the rebuild. Our defence is largely a joke and bar Rom who wants out we are bare up top.

why do you think we need so many defenders based on tonight? We showed tonight and we have all season we'll be a much stronger force know that we have koeman and not martinez. But our attack is what cost us, look at our options, they're horrific, we need at least two strikers and then two more attackers imo, we could make do with one centre back extra and then a full back who can hopefully play both sides.
 

I really hope we have the cash and pulling power to really improve the team this summer.

To progress any further than 7th will require epic amounts of cash and as Moshiri said time is of the essence.

Lets say we had Pickford in goal, he's already a 'threat' due to his kicking ability...
If we had Van Dijk for example he can also make long passes
With someone like Gimenez/Koulibaly we have pace and power so can play a high line and are already further down the pitch
Opposition forwards/midfielders have no 'fear' against Williams/jags we need them to be afraid of our defenders

If we play 3 at the back then without Holgate on the right we look like plodders and need to sit extremely deep, theres also zero threat from a long 'Koeman-esque' pass from defence to get us forward on the counter...its ultra defensive.

Ideally we need to have a leader + power and pace with passing ability in the centre. It would totally change our team.
 
Theres a lot of links with Las Palmas centre back Mauricio Lemos now...

Barca wanted him last summer but he turned them down for playing time...

Gimenez and Lemos would be tasty with 2 Uruguayans in the side...although Gimenez would be a dream signing and very unlikely.

If we do go 3 at the back next season then all the centre backs linked so far (other than Van Dijk) are all right sided.

Other than Van Dijk, who are the possible left sided centre backs we could go for?

Would love Lemos, has a nasty free kick on him too.

Maybe we should spend our time thinking up amusing items that Koemans head resembles? Or some witty insults towards Stoke fans and the like?
