We've spend 80m so far, there or thereabouts.

Anyone has any idea what is the limit we can spend without running into trouble with fpp? Tpp? Ffp? Whatever the term is?

I think it's measured across multiple seasons, so there's no hard and fast number that works. The sale of Stones helps, as will any new commercial deals, etc. And any more moves of the deadweight or Ross or Rom will help further.

I'm sure @hibbo'sclass or The Esk (search him out on twitter) can help with a rough idea on what the numbers could be. Or light up your Damo bat signal and he join the conversation. But it doesn't seem like there's any FFP concern regarding the current spending.

Will be wow time when Rom Ross and kev are gone. The sooner the better really as excited by what additions will come and hopefully new style of play

Rumours are rife that Ross is fully expected to sign a new deal, Mirallas link is pretty thin as far as I can see. Rom rumours have gone very quite as Chelsea and United seem to be looking at other options due to his massive price tag.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure we can spend somewhere in the region of £300m over 3 seasons including last season, and can add £7m a year to our wage bill each year which is around £132k a week.

This all goes up based on outgoings and released players, we've freed a lot of players in January and are letting a few go on the 1st July so that will add more space to the wage bill and the revenue from out bound players can be used to add to the wage bill.

Basically we aren't in any danger right now, but when we confirm Ronaldo for £180m we will need to look at letting people go sharpish

If we sold say McCarthy for 20mil then we can spend that all now. If we signed 4 players for 20mil each and paid 5mil a year for 4 years that's no problem as it shows 20mil in and 20mil out.

So...we can spend a lot.

Also, wages can be taken from transfer fee totals as well.

Ross should have signed a contract last month Rom is grandiose and needs to go and kevs lost his spark so I would like to see some new blood wear the shirt with pride

I doubt any player gets those type of assurances and as it is a World Cup year he'll just want the chance to play, especially in the prem which is arguably one of the toughest divisions to play in and score 20 plus (yes I'm setting him a high target) goals in team.
What is up with this insistence that Sandro is a striker? He's played wing. He is not going to be our starting CF, especially not with Rom here. We aren't going into this season with him as our main goal scorer.

@MorgsGoat is the man on this tbf.

There was a rumour about Ross that makes it understandable if it's true, however it's incredibly personal and purely speculation, but it does make sense. I won't repeat it as it could well not be true.

We will not replace Rom with a like for like replacement, I personally want him to stay

I'm not bothered if Mirallas leaves though, I just don't think he will
