Money and to not play in a crap league mate, same reason most players sign ,his profile playing in the premier league would be ten times what it currently is even with no CL

He's previously turned down moves to teams not in Europe though mate - which is why he's still at Lyon.

He won't move to any club he doesn't see as a serious step up.

Everton could be that step up, but more thank likely Lacazette wouldn't want to be second choice, so unless Rom goes I reckon it'd be unlikely.

Actually doubt if we were to go for the likes of Lacazette, Koeman would go for players similar to Pelle, tall and physical.

Oh yeh not exclusively CL - but he wanted European football or to 'test' himself at a higher level than Lyon.

Keane and Schmeichel fine by me. Get them in early and ready for pre-season.
We need to build momentum this summer, need new faces and a sense that we are ready to give it a go from August.
It's not so much big names for me, it's just having a squad big enough so that RK has decent options, particularly as the EL will take its toll.

That's it mate, I'll pop a bit more on each when I get a moment. I regard them both as safe signings though. Quite low risk, know the league and Koeman type signings. If we are going for bigger names from abroad we will need some stability to go alongside that.

Much like last summer we will be linked with players day in day out, just hope we actually sign some this year.
