Summer Transfer Window 2017

Still depressing that with new owner and new money and great buys over last week';these days news is taken up with us selling our most talented striker and bringing in an over the hill former world class striker on massive wages who can't get a place on MUs team buy who apparently will be a regular in ours. Shows how much everton need to improve before we can challenge for the top 4.

Would love for us to go for dembele from Celtic, 32 goals for them last season and he wasn't even a certified starter like lukaku is for us. I know that league isn't on par with the prem but he's 20 and if he could get half the return he did for Celtic it's a good shout in my opinion. Bagged a fair few in the champions league too last year including 3 against city. Of all the the strikers were linked with he is the one I'm most excited about

Dont get why so many people are so down, we have had the best transfer window since forever so far, bought some great players and improved the squad, we all knew there was a very good chance Lukaku was going, he was a great player for us, he will be missed big time, but we will have been prepared for this, plans will be already in action.

Still just under 2 months of the window left, lets be honest, we cant lose anybody better than Lukaku, so the next 7 weeks can only be good for us!

Chuck Rooney, Siggurdson, some other boss striker and a few other little treats on top of what we have already done and we have knocked his window right out of the park, no question.

It's happening, some people just can't see it yet.

Brehaimi ( excuse spelling ) could be option . Allegedly we went after him in last transfer window and nothing came of it . Would solve our issue over genuine lack of pace that seems to be developing in the squad . That Mane type player Koeman had at Southampton. Also believe we are after a left back given we tried for Kalinisc who ended up going to Arsenal .

After the euphoria of the 4 solid purchases, I think maybe some held the belief that Lukaku might give us one more year, but it was obviously never going to be the case, he wanted CL football and made that very clear.

What you are seeing now is some just reverting to type, they cannot wait to get back to cry arsing once their perfect vision of Everton is shattered.

He will be replaced, players will come and go, but one thing will remain a given, that being some will never be happy regardless of what the club do.

As our squad takes shape is anyone else getting a bit concerned over how slow it looks? Very worrying lack of pace. Sandro is no slouch but he's not exactly Usain Bolt either, and he's probs the quickest player in the starting 11. Can't see anyone (fit at least) we can turn to if we're under the cosh and need some pace on the counter, or break open a tough deep block.

Lookman, kev, bolaise (when he gets back) are all rapid
Ross isn't exactly sluggish either if he's staying

Seems like a lot of evertonians are being consumed by the desire to shut up the kopites by mirroring their tiresome boasting about being league winners on paper before a single kick of a ball. And losing our world class goal scorer without getting a world record fee plus signing an over-the-hill player from a team above us in the league all makes us look weak in the twitter debate, which seemingly is the competition that matters most.

Not too worried atm as there's still a long time to go in this window. Lack of pace seems a bit of an issue though atm. Especially if two of the players we're looking to bring in are Rooney and Giroud. Not rrally a fan of bring both in. One of them would be fine imo. Very much prefer Giroud myself.

As said though, still got a lot of time to get it right.
