People are in a dream world banding about names like Aubemayang. Did we suddenly get CL football? 'Where's our world class forward to replace Rom', what a ridiculous question. We've not had a world class forward for decades, Lukaku wasn't (and arguably still isn't) when he joined. If Sandro turns into one you'll all be bleating when he eventually goes too. Who do people realisiticslly expect Everton to go and buy to replace Lukaku who is better than Giroud Rooney or Sandro? In those three players we have a young potential, proven prem international striker in his prime, and older former world class player. People seem to be angry that we've not landed one of the worlds top strikers to replace him. Crazy.

Sigurdsson spectacularly failed at Spurs. He is a good player at a small club. Last season we were linked with actual quality like Mata. Sigurdsson?! Do me a favour la.

How many times did you watch him play for spurs? If you did, you will know he was rarely played in best position. On occasions he was out wide, dropped back to central midfield and even played as the striker. I can only remember a handful of matches he actually played as a number 10 in behind the striker.

Dont get why so many people are so down, we have had the best transfer window since forever so far, bought some great players and improved the squad, we all knew there was a very good chance Lukaku was going, he was a great player for us, he will be missed big time, but we will have been prepared for this, plans will be already in action.

Still just under 2 months of the window left, lets be honest, we cant lose anybody better than Lukaku, so the next 7 weeks can only be good for us!

Because a player that was inevitably going now might unsurprisingly be going. Shock horror.

We will have Sandro, probably Rooney, probably a replacement for Lukaku, DCL....I am actually really looking forward to this side he puts together, especially with the additions of Sandro and Klaassen.

How do guys who have seen a bit of them play see sygi and klaassen fit into the same team? Wud klaassen drop back into a midfield 3 with gana and schneiderlin? Or would one be pushed out wide? with rooney on top its hard to imagine how they could all be acccomodated together.
