Summer Transfer Window 2017

Would Rooney, Sigurdsson, Keane and VVD make us stronger? Sure. VVD would be the biggest statement of intent signing there, and the most difficult to complete I imagine. Not enthused by this Jose guy, journeyman like that Belfodil who has just happened to have the best season of his life. All his goals look fairly simple.

Linked with Austrian playmaker/striker Robert Zulj from Greuther Fürth (2nd Bundesliga), who's free of charge at the end of the season.

Weird rumour.
Solid versatile player, could imagine him playing for a Bundesliga side in the lower half. Maybe a player to enrich the roster for the International and domestic cup ties? Surely not good enough to match Evertons high aims in the premier league.

he is also linked with a move to Mainz

This seems to be our ideal summer business for that position, but then, you do see holgate and galloway who i think will both make very good central defenders, as well as koeman supposedly rating pennington and then browning also, we have a lot of youngsters who will be pushed very far down the pecking order if this happens. I suppose we can't rely on them just yet to get us champions league and in 2 or 3 years time jags and williams will have retired and at that point they'll be of good age, but i hope that buying too many centre backs doesn't push those two away.

Pennington and browning i rate a couple of grades lower than them two tbh.

Alternatively, it gives us tremendous depth at cb for a push in all competitions, and allows us to loan out a higher calibre of young player to higher calibre teams.

Vvd and Keane would be as good a cb pairing as any in the league, our cm is up there too as is our striker, would give us an amazing spinecto the team.

There's no way we'll get either of them. If any of the team's above us are interested they'll go there or, in VVD's case, abroad.

We will see mate, think we have the agreement already with Keane, at least that is something a couple of people hinted at to me in January.

looks like cuco martina is a no brainer, on a free in the summer, worked with Koeman before and we will need a RB till Coleman returns, which will free Holgate up to play CB

Michael Keane as new CB £25M

gylf sigurdssons, even if Barkley stays, I think we should get him

Willian Jose - even if Lukaku stays we need more options in the CF position

Maybe. But if one of the CL clubs come in for him he isn't coming here. VVD = no chance whatsoever. That ship sailed two seasons ago.

As i said mate, we will see really, we are at the point to get certain players we need to keep it really in house till it's signed and sealed (unlike the lad who went to Arsenal for example) OR we need to in essence overpay for certain players (at least short term anyway)

IF we will do is another matter, be interesting to see - as this really needs to be a massive window where we stop talking about the project etc and actually show people that we as a club are serious.

BTW, having seen Arsenal last night - we will 100% finish above them this season mate, they have utterly downed tools on the manager

if no-one goes we need -2 centre backs, a left back, poss a right back , a goalie , a magical boots player and maybe a young striker

i dont think we will get all of these...
