The fume if we got Benteke would be great. Lukaku was always labeled lazy, ever watch Benteke run? Any slower he'd be going backwards. Not impressed with him and would feel let down if he was lukaku's replacement. Would rather gamble on Dembele. Fast and young.

Dembele would be a huge risk at the money they'd want for him. Yes he's slotted a load of goals, but in the Scottish PL.

God knows what money they would want for Benteke though. Can see them asking £60 million in this market.

Think that's the biggest problem we've got. After getting mega bucks off Man U for Lukaku, other clubs will be using that as a benchmark.

You should care though, as we have a number of excelent players that are available for a loan or on the fringes of the first team that would be great for Everton, but whatever.

Backtracking? You are welcome to show me a post of mine that claims that i wanted Lukaku, if anything, i always said that i was not arsed whether he comes or not, Morata is a better fit for our team.
Agreed about Everton though, you are in with a shot of getting top 4 if you can replace Lukaku.

I think it will take some time to repair relations myself. Benteke is more proven than Batman in the league, so that is the one positive I can take from buying Benteke instead of Mitchy. I just don't think we have a team built for Benteke though- especially with the injuries to Coleman and Bolasie.
