I would actual cry. After all the boss players talked about to end up with him. He's not even woeful, he's alright at what he does, but he's just not sexy enough for new Everton.

I've not seen anything solid enough for me to be too worried as yet though.

His goal record is excellent if you break it down. Less than 1 in 2 at a dreadful villa, average of a goal every 168 minutes at liverpool despite being in and out of the team every week, and 17 goals for a palace team that started the season with alan pardew at the helm.

Negatives would be if we were looking to press benteke is not going to do that (but either would giroud). I cant really say ive noticed his hold up play so cant comment on that

Please not Benteke - it would totally take the shine off what has been a glorious transfer window! It would be hard to believe he has not been scouted and found to be lacking in the pressing game. As others have noted it would also be hard to believe we don't have a plan to replace the man who told us he was leaving before last season ended. I have faith Walshy and Ron know what they are up to. All the talk of being more productive ....

I feel the same. He has had quite a few club moves and that always worries me. He is ok at what he does but it would be nice to go after or at least try for a better pedigree striker.
