...apologies for this abridged summary but Mrs Eggs and I are going away for a week and have an early flight to catch. I'll post again tomorrow but there is a slight time difference and I'll be full of dark rum and ginger so will be an hour or so later than usual.
The rumour mill for Tuesday morning;
- Radio Sarajevo report Everton are weighing up a move for ex-Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko. The 31 year old has scored 39 goals in 49 games for AS Roma.
- According to Sky Sports News, Everton are keen on Crystal Palace forward, Christian Benteke. The Daily Mail and Croydon Advertiser also go with this story. Everton's former Head of Communications, Alan Myers, has tweeted about Everton interest in Benteke.
- The FootballTransfer Tavern suggest Ronald Koeman still wants Arsenal's Olivier Giroud, despite the acquisition of Wayne Rooney.
- 4th Official report Leicester City interest in Everton midfielder, James McCarthy.
- Sky News reporter, Kevin Solhekol has mentioned that former Everton target, Marko Arnautovic, has submitted a transfer request at Stoke.
heh. does it bother you?So,what do you guys think about your summer business so far?
Does the Lukaku sale, bother you guys?
I'd be made up with Benteke. Can't see Palace letting him go for anything less than an exorbitant fee, though.
How much would Palace even want?I dread to think.
Haven't seen Joyce comment on it but been a few others that have including Myers, Mail and Sky sports.Please someone tell me .... ain't going back.Is Benteke a goer.Just finished work x

I would actual cry. After all the boss players talked about to end up with him. He's not even woeful, he's alright at what he does, but he's just not sexy enough for new Everton.
I've not seen anything solid enough for me to be too worried as yet though.

Possibly. I don't think anyone who has come so far is on a different level to Shaqiri, though.
Problem is he has a lot of the better players, so hopefully he's an unavoidable necessary evil!
