Player Valuation: £70m
How much is Diego Costa going for? I think we should get him, with Niasse as a "makeweight".

Here it is.
I would say only one of those three fall into any (pretty broad) category of 'best available'....and that would be a MINIMUM of player trading: that you get better than you had in the fist place. I doubt that.I think the club knew it was getting £100m from Man United months ago.
Thus asked for Rooney, which was agreed (hence talking him up so much on that SKY day), and then set about targeting and bringing in the best available to improve the squad. Pickford, Keane, Klaassen and then hoped Sandro and Onyekuru would come here.
I think we have come out of the Lukaku saga far stronger. He clearly did not want to be here.
Of course I would like to see the club spend even more but any business, and that is what football is, that can strengthen it's hand whilst breaking even is extremely well run.
We are desperate for success, but we are putting the pieces in place. The U23s are producing high quality players and we are snapping up some of the best young talent around. Hopefully it will all bear fruit soon.
As I said in a different thread, Anthony Martial on loan with a fixed option to buy if he works out.
Better to sell him as a "paperweight" instead. "Stand still Oumar"How much is Diego Costa going for? I think we should get him, with Niasse as a "makeweight".
...looking desperate with this now. You cant reach back into previous windows mate.So because people are optimistic about the fact we've spent the best part of £120m since January, you want to pipe them down and turn most threads into moronic rhetoric about net spend?
Well done
Utterly irrelevant. The net spend argument (as I and others have been saying for a while) is over a longer run period than one single season.
Look, just about everyone in the game knows that at sometime in this league you have to have a massive period of spending to keep your own best players and attract world class talent at the top end of the market. Then you can player trade to your hearts content and balance books for a couple of seasons if need be.
Why on earth are some fans trying to give a free pass on this to a club owner?
Dont do his work for him, hold his feet to the fire and make sure we're not just churning over the cash from player sales...which IS what we're seeing now.
'Kin ell, podcasts from Evertonians "proving" that their lord and master with the wallet that never actually opens is doing us a favour by not spending more than we take in.
Unreal.
Max Meyer is the sort of player i want to see us linked with. think spuds and the RS are after him though
I'm feeling a very strong stinging sensation in my trousers that we will sign Lucas Perez.
