You forgot Onyekuru at £6m

Wrong.

He helped improve our defence drastically last term.

He needs pace next to him. Keane brings that.

Shouldn't be a guaranteed starter, but is a very solid player, and I don't get why people think he was bad last year. He was nowhere near poor.
The defence was always going to improve drastically once we got a competent manager in.

Because he looks like he is running through water. Absolute terrible waste of money. He looks like he is ready for the scrap heap.

I don't agree. Koeman clearly doesn't either.

Let's leave it there. Everyone's entitled to their opinion ;)

Nah.... just every other defender he plays with is rubbish apparently.... no common denominator at all....

Erm, I don't think anyone has said that.

In a back three, Williams was superb last season. That can't be argued with and the facts back that up.

In a back two, yeh, his lack of pace gets exposed and hinders us. But, that has a lot to do with the fact none of our other CB's are blessed with pace either. Holgate is, but probably isn't ready to play in a two yet.

Keane is a lot quicker. He's not rapid, but will help a lot in that regard.
