4th official has us looking at PSG's Kimpembe Centre half who can play on the left, don't remember too much about him but seems like click bait (yes I know I fell for it) but it's great to be linked with players from top teams as we are being taken seriously!

Love the fact were buying the best youth across the country, and it seems giving them a platform to establish themselves.

I was told the other day Koeman is seeing this as a longer term project now and this just evidences it.
Maybe a new contract soon?

Either way, the club seem to be doing most things right at the moment.

Now, wheres my thread about worrying about the youngsters path to the first team?!!

Gibson operates primarily as a left-back but he can also play as a centre-half.

The 16-year-old’s form resulted in him being selected for England’s under-17’s side for this summer’s European Championships and he was an ever-present as the Young Lions were beaten on penalties in the final by Spain.

Nonetheless, his performances attracted interest from the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Celtic but it is seemingly Everton who have managed to convince the young star to swap Tyneside for Merseyside.

Because of his age, he is only on scholarship terms, rather than a professional contract with the Magpies.

This means he is free to leave for a compensation fee, but more importantly, is free to talk with other clubs as he hasn’t signed professional terms at Newcastle.

The Magpies have made Gibson a contract offer but he is free to leave for Everton, should he decide to.

My only criticism of our business so far is that we have let some good bargains slip under our noses, Robertson at LB for £10 million and Hernandez at CF at £13 million would have been 2 very good signings for a combined pittance in today's market.

Massively need to get another CB and First choice striker in. If Swansea continue to mess us about over Gylfi sack him off and throw £40 million at a sexy creative player from Spain or Germany

I was really impressed with Robertson when he first signed for Hull, thought he was piss poor last season though and looked all over the shop at times.

Could prove to be a decent signing but all being well we will have our eye on someone better out there

I think we'll spend big on Siggurdsson and a CF then bring in a CB/LB utility player who can cover both positions for £7-12 million. Imo Baines is a very good squad player but we need a new number one with pace who can bomb up and down the pitch, especially with Coleman Crocked.

I think Baines is still number 1 mate but I can definitely see us looking at a left sided defensive player, especially with Mori out long term
