These are two I like. Well I like Gibson, but I don't think we could get Gibson for 15m though, in this market he is may be priced closer to 20. Martins Indi I like a bit less, but at around 10m would be happy.

I just don't think we will spend 25-35 on a CB (not saying we shouldn't, just that i doubt we will) so that will limit the options.

Well boro were relegated last season and they've just spent big on that forward from forest. I know Steve Gibson is committed to the club and has personally bankrolled them, but i think a bid of 15-20m would be enough, especially as they are relying on parachute payments following relegation. Another young talented English player to add to the ranks, I'm all for that.

Aha I've wanted him since before last season finished.

Him and Keane used to play together for England U21s so they know each other well. Plus he'd left sided.

Lets be honest VVD or similar is not going to happen so Gibson is probably the best of the realistic shouts. Think he'd be good.

I enjoy the transfer chatter but I'm a realist so much rather see us successfully go for him than fanny about creaming over VVD etc.

Swear it was mate. In bed now and cant get into Skybet transfer specials on my antique phone. But Everton was third on the list and greyed out with a little s next to it. When you clicked on it came up as bets suspended.

Even someone like Gibson or Martin's Indi at around £15 million is an improvement on what we have currently for a relatively small fee. Just don't want Jagielka anywhere near the starting 11 and Holgate isn t yet ready to be in a back 2.

Martins Indi is terrible. I'd rather stick with Jags at that point.

could've been a big bet put down so...tbh I don't think we were even in the running before this and now 3rd fav though still long odds, that can change quickly thugh
