He is to reckless for the position imo and i think his body will always fail him sadly. He has something i agree but a DCM at best if he stayed fit.

Hope he proves me wrong, think he would be ideal to replace Barry's role in the squad.

I Just feel he would be ideal as a protector in front of 2 CB's rather than an actual CB.

The thing is, we need to bring in someone on a par with Keane to really set ourselves up for the next few years, but it just doesn't look like we are prepared to spend that sort of money on another centre half.

Ben Gibson is worth a look.

These are two I like. Well I like Gibson, but I don't think we could get Gibson for 15m though, in this market he is may be priced closer to 20. Martins Indi I like a bit less, but at around 10m would be happy.

I just don't think we will spend 25-35 on a CB (not saying we shouldn't, just that i doubt we will) so that will limit the options.

Jagielka is sound. So is Williams.

Just need somebody with pace next to them.

Playing together neither can run, so we can't press up.

We may get another CB in but it'll be a late job in the window IMO.

We're apparently paying Newcastle £6m for a 16-year so I'm NEA if he costs that.

These are the two I like. Well I like Gibson, but I don't think we could get Gibson for 15m though, in this market he is may be priced closer to 20. Martins Indi I like at around 10m.

They reckon £13.5 million for Martin's Indi, would be more than happy with him coming in for that fee to rotate with Williams for the 2nd/3rd choice CB position with Jags being a last ditch 4th choice. Get Funes Mori back hopefully by January and punt Jags off to the championship where he should be along with Terry.
