Have they got the appetite to spend 50m plus on him though Not sure Chelsea have given how strong they are there already. City also have to spend big on full backs mate. Not saying we'll get him but I reckon Mosh will want to back Koeman if he says hes his no 1 target.

I hope so and think we will and should go in for him.

But if we don't get him then I'll understand the reasons why.

No reason not to try though! Although, for me, Keane should be the priority to get in quickly - as he's more realistic and would instantly improve us as well as showing we mean business.

Wasn't covering that game matey, was on Lyon v Besiktas duty.

Ghezzal looked sharp in flashes.

Lacazette had a bit of a shocker. Fekir played very well.

Anderson Talisca impressive for Besiktas as well, but only in the first half.

Fekir is someone I really like mate, noticeable that when lacazette form went to pieces last season it was after he did his cruciate. Very very smart second striker type, and be bouncing if we went for him. Perfect foil for Rom.

Gut Instinct mate. We will get both in. Think Koeman is by nature a manager who will prioritise a strong spine. Then think about adding bit and pieces around it.

Keane I believe a few who told me it was agreed effectively in January. VVD I just think will come due to agent, personal connection with koeman and that he won't be first choice target with those other clubs.

City will buy bellerin and Rodriguez for full back.

Chelsea I dunno, they have the ball playing cb already in luiz so the vvd links seem odd.
Thats 60m just for FBs. Plus they need to spend big on a keeper. Are they going 50m plus on CB too.

Chelsea spent big on Luis last year. They have boss defence already and Zouma & Christensen back for next season. I doubt they'll eant to spend so much either.

If we're prepared to spend we have a decent chance if getting him I reckon.

City will spend big on a centre back, but just don't think it'll be vvd, bonucci, laporte, varane, just think Virgil won't be too of the list and city will go balls out to get guardiolas number one targets after last season's failings.

Chelsea, yeah they will want another cb, but can see conte wanting a typical disciplined Italian type rather than vvd, who is much more adventurous.

If Chelsea do get VVD then the likes of Zouma and Ake may be available as it pushes them further down the line. Thought Ake done really well at Bournmouth and liked the look of Zouma when I have seen him. He's a bit raw but still only 22.

Personally I think managers tend to stick to what they know and I can see Conte going for a CB who he has seen a lot of in Italy - hence the interest in Koulibaly.

Not going to speculate on who I want or the futures of Rom or Barkley. All I know is I want it done quick. Everything sorted by pre season training resumes. Hate the uncertainty of waiting until 3/4 games into the new season before business starts getting done.

IMHO... Both Rom and Ross are gone. In the past this would have us all at panic stations. We now have investment. I believe we will be stronger next season with decent cover in defence and attack.Just my opinion like.

Is he similar in style to Davies?

That's a tricky comparison...as Tielemans has played about 200 games in different midfield roles for a team used to dominating play.

Tielemans started off deep knocking the ball around with either foot, pinpoint passing 10yards up to 40 odd yards left or right footed like a sniper. you could see he was ridiculously talented....Davies and he are both all rounders and I guess the difference would be that when tielemans moved into a centre midfield role (like davies) he just looked 'classy' with incredible technique....Davies seems to be more keen to get stuck in so I guess you could say Tielemans was a bit more attack minded and Davies has more awareness of what space there is around him to benefit the team?

This season I haven't watched much football but when ive seen Anderlecht tielemans has been played further forward and has an understanding with dendoncker so they really link well together. The main difference is that now tielemans has less of a burden to track back I guess and has been shooting from obscene angles 30 odd yard screamers and curlers into either corner with either foot.

If we managed to sign him then I could imagine him playing box to box alongside davies with schneiderlin deep. Alternatively I suppose to get used to English football he could rotate with either davies or schneiderlin.

If we had tielemans, davies, gana and schneiderlin then I think we would just need one more midfielder in the group and we'd be totally set.

It's a bit unfair because davies is in the premier league and just starting off whilst tielemans has 200 odd games in the jupiler league...

I think Tielemans would be the best if not one of the best midfielders in the league after 12months to settle in....davies style of play would compliment him.

I don't read too much on here, has this guy been mentioned yet. Cba to look back. Sead Kolasinac. Bosnian LB. He's a huge lump. Doing the rounds on Reddit right now.
