Whys that? He is French after all.
He should be, but he also went to Scotland with other options on the table. Hard to know what goes on in a players head. Maybe he misses home.so? not like he supports them ( came from PSG didn't he )
and because the prem is a far higher standard than the French league, at his age he should be wanting to play in a better league ( not hard going from the Scottish one like )
Boro quotes any prices yet?
Whatever it is, it should be less than we paid for Keane. 20m sounds about right. I'd bite at that price. Do it Everton.I've read anywhere between £20m and £35m.

And maybe he thinks Marseille makes more sense to continue that development than an Everton move where he'd not be guaranteed anything with Sandro and Rooney to compete with. Like I said, it's hard to know what a player thinks and what an agent/advisor is saying. Wages, we'd obviously have the upper hand, but there's more to it than that.to be fair to him, he went to Scotland to get regular game time, something he did and smashed, other offers he might not have played a key roll and stalled his development
Had a dream last night we got Martial on loan with an option to buy and the lad just absolutely tore up the league. Our team placed 2nd.
Make it so!
I remember people saying exactly the same thing when Trevor Francis became the first Million pound player.
Neymar could become the first 200 million pound player
haven't even had a £100m player yet ha
I forget about Niasse every dayI can't see anybody paying money for Joel
He will go back to Spain in all likelihood
Season long loan to run down his contract and get his wages off the books
Naisse will only get us 6/8 m of a foreign team.
I think if Macca stays fit he will stay
Cover for Morgan and Gana along with Bescic and Barry

It's been 1 year. He's 21. So you defend him going to Celtic at 20 but not Marseille at 21? Klassen stayed at Ajax until he was 24. There's a right and wrong move for young players. I haven't seen enough of the guy to know if he could cut it. If he signs, I hope it's because he's ready. But he's at an age now were he needs to back himself, if in his head he thinks if he comes to everton and won't get game time so takes the easier route in a worse league than maybe we don't need that sort of character ( had enough bottlers over the years us )
anywho all if's and buts anyway isn't it, probably wont even make an offer for him anyway
I said COULD become the first 200 m playerhaven't even had a £100m player yet ha
