- According to the Daily Star, Everton are one of 6 clubs interested in Udinese midfielder, Jakub Jankto. The Czech Republic international has spent 3 years on the Serie A outfit books.
- The Bleacher Report say Spurs and Everton want to sign Inter Milan's Brazilian international, Gabriel Barbosa, on loan.
- The Express suggest Ronald Koeman wants 3 more signings, including Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson and Arsenal's Olivier Giroud. Spurs will pocket £5m on any deal for Sigurdsson. The Daily Star reports Everton are keen to complete the signing of Giroud. The Daily Mail says Sigurdsson has returned to pre-season training with Swansea.
- The Express also says Everton midfielder, Ross Barkley, is open to joining Manchester United despite interest from Spurs. Clubcall website quote Ronald Koeman who says Everton have not received any offers for Barkley.
- The BBC Gossip Column suggests Everton will fight with Crystal Palace and Stoke for West Ham defender James Collins.

...funny one isn't it? The rumour started to emerge yesterday. We've done ok out of ageing CBs if you think of Richard Gough and David Weir. From yesterday's press conference it appears RK wants to bring in 3 more, and a CB was specifically mentioned with Funes-Mori out for so long.

...looks like he's been largely on loan since he joined Udinese for less than £1m. Had a little look at the YouTube stuff, reminds me of the West Brom winger James McClean in that he's a similar size, very left footed and plays in the same area of the pitch. Not McClean, just in the same mould.
..I don't know, Matey. We've been linked with lots of CBs, we'll just have to wait and see which one we push for.
Last season was his breakout year so to speak. Got a rocket of a shot on him and part of a crop of exciting Czech's coming through.
