Christ, we writing Lookman off now too?

Don't think that's the case, DCL would benefit from a loan and Lookman I think is ideal off the bench when defenders are tiring

I don't think you can take much from the game last night as we are only in the third week back for a majority and about 75% fit, less for the guys who came back later.

Doesn't matter how we get into the hat for the next round as long as it happens, and you will see marked improvements every game

The future is very bright mate!

Thanks a good call @matty1878 I would like to see Perez, big strong target man who can move, all the Arse fans seem to like him, just hasn't been given the chance under Wenger.

Believe he has been offered a contract in Spain, which is longer than the norm thou so I cannot see it

Not much out there that have played in the Prem so could hit the ground running....

Dolberg

Giroud, Benteke, Dost, William Jose, Raul Jimenez, Jorgensen, anyone of that playing style is desperately needed.

1st half Rooney dropped deep for the ball and we had no outlet, 2nd half Sandro dropped in too. Absolutely no options for the long ball or a crossing opportunity.

.....Friday morning's rumour mill;

- The Express report Arsenal will step up their interest in Everton midfielder Ross Barkley if Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leaves in this window. The Daily Star says Chelsea are looking at Barkley and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

- According to Wales Online, Everton are unlikely to push through a deal for Swansea midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson, because of the fee.

- Ross McClean, reporter at City AM, quotes Ronald Koeman speaking after last night's match; "when Sandro came on, Wayne Rooney had more freedom and we had pace up front which made the team better. We know we would like another striker, you normally need two no 9s in the squad. I am really confident we can bring in a really good one to make us better".

- The Daily Mail report Chelsea interest in young Everton midfielder, Tom Davies.

- Mundo Deportivo link Everton with 21 year old Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos. The Uruguayan has a 30m Euro release clause in his contract.

- The Bleacher Reprts reporter, Dean Jones, says Newcastle are about to step up their interest in Everton midfielder, James McCarthy.

Hope he's right about the striker. I think we'll really struggle for goals this season without another one with a bit of quality.

Perez isn't a target man.
