I agree, but to be fair there was zero movement until Sandro came on. Everyone was trying not to be the striker

Maybe Sandro, yes.

Rooney is finished. His signature will sell shirts and has appealed to the more sentimental fans willing to overlook the fact that we have exchanged him and a suitcase full of money for our most effective match winner. The reality is we want to be a top 6 team, and he wasn't good enough for Man Utd as a top 6 team, he's not going to be good enough for us either.

I'll admit that after our busy window it seems a strange thing to say, but we need signings.

Well, McGeady's gone, Kone's gone, Clevs gone....I honestly reckon the issue with getting rid of some of our crapper players is that nobody would want them!

Who the FFFF would want Leandro Rodriguez!?
 

We need pace and power, basically someone like that Lukaku lad over at Utd. Never thought I'd say this, but after last night, I can't wait to see Bolasie back in action.
 
Sandro looks sharp, explosive and I think even on the basis of last night will certainly ruffle a few feathers in the PL this season. He will and should be our main goal threat this season on what we have.

Rooney and Bolasie when back will also play their part at ties I am sure, but if we want to break into the top 6 and dare I say even challenge the top 4 we need another top striker to compliment Sandro.

I would be happy to see DCL as back up striker to our next big striker signing.

We need another centre back as Williams looks a bit shot! Maybe early season lack of sharpness, or maybe not. Keane needs a top level partner to form a partnership with.

...Lukaku is a finisher, there wasn't much to finish yesterday so he might not have made the difference. We probably missed a focal point up front that players could feed off more than a goalscorer. Sandro, Rooney, Mirallas and Klaassen are capable of creating and scoring but the blend wasn't right. The manager has to find the right blend.
