He's a good player mate but not in the very top band that RM would go after. None of the top clubs took a punt before City and there's a reason he isnt making their squad at the moment despite having a decent first half to the season. I actually think we're about his level and he'd be a good fit with RKs style.I'm not saying it's impossible well because nothing is impossible statistically speaking but I think there would be teams ahead of us he'd prefer to go to if they showed an interest. Maybe Real would go for him and move Benzema on
We can bring 40m in from sales probably so doesnt sound too bad then. I'd spend the Hart money on another striker.Hart
Robertson
Van Dijk
Sigurdsson
What's that about 90 million. Gulp!!

Yeah, that's kind of a good point. He doesn't really stand out. If you aren't standing out as a 24 year old in Ligue 1, probably not good enough for us. And why on earth would they let his contract run out? Even if you are resigned to move, jeez, cut your club a break, sign a deal, let them recoup the transfer fee. You'd think the agent would be pushing that, too. It is odd.Yeh he's decent for that league but doesn't stand out much whenever Nice are one. Strange how they're letting his contract run down though.

Lol
does anyone stand out in Ligue 1?
Kante and Mahrez didn't...

He's 30 and probably not going to move to a club at the same level as City. Unless Simeone has really fallen out with Yannick Carrasco (as the press here have been suggesting) and sees him as a good substitute. In which case, If Lukaku stays maybe we could tempt Carrasco. We still probably won't finish above 5th though mate and unless we showed him a list of top class players who've agreed to join us he would almost certainly want to go to club that's at the top level already not aiming to get there over the next few years. I think city will want him to move abroad rather then go to a rival. He would be unbelievable though. Imagine 40/50 goals a year pretty much nailed on from your front 2 alone. Signing him would almost certainly mean getting a new centre half too because we wouldn't play 442 with our current CBs I don't think
Backtrack the conversation mate. We're talking Nolito here.I don't know about that mate, he's scored 113 in 168 for city in the hardest league in the world, champions league games and admittedly some lower standard cup games. He has an outstanding record in the PL, admitidley he got 74 in 175 for athletico but he was for more inexperienced in what was then a much weaker team. His goal record must be in that 2nd tier player behind Ronald, Messi, Netmar and Suarez

Why do I do this to myself?
