RB (not going to happen now)
LB
LW (likely Siggurdsson)
ST

Ideally need a back up CB with Mori Crocked as Williams can still "do a job" In the starting 11 for this season.

right back weak? we have one of the best right backs in europe. and the england's U20 and U21 right backs in reserve.
left back? yeah, baines is getting on, but i wouldn't call him weak. We had some decent backup options but have let them go, so could do with another one there.
left wing? bolasie, lookman, sandro, mirallas, lennon - yeah really weak options
striker? rooney, calvert-lewin and sandro is not exactly weak is it? England and united's record ever goalscorer and an ex-barca product with rave reviews and england's u20's world cup winning striker.

Yeah ok, our options are weak if you compare them to real madrid's squad, but our squad is in no way week. Weakened by the three long term injuries, no doubt, but we can't go and buy a new player every time someone get's injured.

Coleman may never return the same player mate. Shaw, Oviedo, Edwuardo just to name 3 players in the PL who have come back half the player from a leg break. Ramsey returned the same level but has since been struggling with niggly injuries as has Oviedo.

Any club with foresight would have brought in a half decent RB who can at worst challenge Coleman for that RB spot or at best make it there own should he not come back to his best. Martina offers nothing.

Yeah, I'm the least itk person on GOT! Seems a weird story to make up, doubt many people outside of Liverpool and Wigan know who the lad is.

Suppose, but I'm very doubtful. If it does happen, it'll be a loan I'd imagine.

But yeh, I see us going for a versatile player who can cover both positions.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bruno Martins Indi - or a player of a similar ilk. And while I thought he was poor at Porto, he really impressed me at Stoke last year so it's a signing I would be relatively pleased with.

shaw was pure crap before the injury, no idea what united were thinking on that one.

But we have seemingly a great youngster in kenny coming through, but it'd be naive to have two youngsters share the burden for the majority of the season, especially a european one, hence the stop gap signing of martina. There's no point in going out and buying a top RB for about £15m and then have coleman come back and be as good as ever. kenny could be that guy but still needs another year or two of development first.

Sounds like a good player Edwuardo, is he Brazillian??

Which tells you just how big a mess was left & needed clearing up.

RK needs another year to get his squad together & playing as he would want.

Martinez nearly killed us.

Martinez got Lukaku through the door, which in all honesty is still the greatest and most defining achievement of of Everton in the premier league era.

None of the signings that Koeman has got in so far compares to Lukaku in 2014, not even close.

I agree, he was better than what I thought he would be...not earth shattering or anything but efficient enough. I haven't really been following what Stoke have been up to this window. I recall seeing Arnautovic had gone to Mutante Club but not seen much else. I wonder if @Moomin knows anything. He impresses me with the quality of info he gets from a source deep embedded within Stoke FC

They got rid of Walters to make room for Giroud.
