I don't want a worse player, I just don't see the merit in getting Gylfi bloody Siggurdsson for £50 million pounds! You could get Nasri for around £5 million or a loan and then have the money to go out and buy someone else or reinvest in other areas of the squad. We are going to have our pants pulled down on a player that isn't all that good.

not in the opinion of our manager. He's the best player available for that position, number 1 target and imo, he's the best player we can get. We'll still buy players in the other positions we need strengthening as well, as koeman has alluded to. If we get gylfi in as a playmaker, a new striker and a new centre back as he wants ... what on earth are you saving that £45m for?
