Drop the Costa nonsense mate. He's not coming here in a million years. He's a great player but an utter lunatic. And we can afford a player who could literally go AWOL for 6 months. It's tedious. It will never happen.

Everton are said to be one of a number of clubs tracking Linfield’s Paul Smyth.

The Belfast Telegraph report that several sides including Newcastle United, Sunderland, Sheffield United and Birmingham City are closely monitoring the 19-year-old’s progress.

The Northern Ireland under-21 winger scored eight goals in 15 games for Linfield last season in their tltle-winning campaign.

Saw him play a couple of times. Really, really fast, but nowhere near PL level. He looks half decent at Irish League level but the standard is a joke. Only player to go from it and have a successful PL career in last 15 years or so that I can think of is Mccauley at WBA.

Totally agree with Tim on this one - he is a pacey winger with good feet but nowhere near premier league level at the minute. He has the ability to make a career in England or Scotland but I'd be suprised if it was above league one level.

There were, the place has been shut down for a few years now. Wasn't the worst at times. Micky blue eyes posted some good articles.
