....this is what's in the rumour columns this Thursday morning;

- ClubCall website say Brighton are looking to sign Everton forward Oumar Niasse but might have to break their transfer record to get him. The Liverpool Echo suggest Niasse is keen to make the move happen.

- According to The Mirror, Chelsea are looking to beat Spurs to the £25m signature of Everton midfielder, Ross Barkley. Also, The Express pundit Steve Nicol reckons the Toffees player will go to Chelsea.

- MadaboutEPL website report Everton interest in Dutch defender Wesley Hoedt who plays for Lazio.

- Dominic King of the Daily Mail has tweeted that Everton are considering a bid for Barcelona defender, Thomas Vermaelen.

Getting thiner by the day ............what no striker rumoured!

If anybody on the board is a legitimate Evertonian they would do everything they can to wrap up this VVD deal... take our defence to a whole other level and spite them scums at the same time... its to sweet

Before his injury in january had he not switched to the same agents as Koeman and agreed personal terms?

I understand chelski are after him but they cant offer him every game playing time... he has said his injury scared him and left doubts whether he would play a full career so he wants to play as much as he can right now

Am i missing something here or are we bang on now liverpool have been told no by southampton again for their eary window debauchery
:Blink::Blink:

This stuff about gangsters etc...what a joke.

You really think if it's genuine that once Ross leaves the Liverpool post code he would be ok ?

Give me a break.
Prima facie I would not disagree mate. But there is waaaay to much smoke to this story, suggesting it has some fire. Ross's propensity toward goosing has led him into 'issues'. I reckon a person with any smarts might be able to extricate himself from the imbroglio. But Ross, whilst he's a good footballer, struggles with smarts....and the problem he faces is very real

Unbelievable that we have allowed all that great momentum in the early part of the transfer window to have been lost over the last month.
I don,t care what anyone says it,s just to coincidental that we have seen no movement on any new players in the spots we need in the team.

It,s back to "Everton that" which is a damn shame.

If we carried on that momentum we would of ended up with 16 odd new players, Pickford, Keane & Klaassen would already be asking for moves away as they wouldnt get in the team
