Summer Transfer Window 2017

No idea who Everton are trying to sign.... Would like to see Everton do what City did when they were trying to improve the side. Buy from around the Premiership. Weaken squads around them....

i believe that's mainly what we'll do again this summer by going for players like siggurdson, van dijk, keane, pickford etc. Picking off the best or best youngsters from the teams below us, which is a fairly decent way of doing it as we know they're proven in the league, but i myself, would like to see us go for a couple of higher calibre of player from europe, plucking fringe players from very good teams, just like what we tried with gabbidiani and brahimi.

We had a decent summer, but lacked massively in getting good attackers in, but we started with players like bolasie, gueye, williams and then schneiderlin so picking off the best players from teams below, as well as an out of favour player from a team above us - this is all well and good for the league, but it will only take us so far and may not see us thrive in europe either.

mate, steve walsh was the main reason leicester provided the biggest shock in probably sporting history. He's one of the top in his profession, you on the other hand, if i'm not mistaken are not a football scout or director of football at a premier league club. Excuse me, but i think i'll trust his opinion a hell of a lot more than him, try not bashing him in every post before he's even had a chance to shine here, it's akin to davek bashing koeman every single post.

I never get the hipsters on here who have a pop at people for discussing transfers in the transfer thread. Bore off and read another thread if you don't like it. Like going into the Ross Barkley thread and being shocked to see people actually talking about Ross Barkley.

The under 21 foreign player you've never heard off fifa wishlist posts can be a bit tedious like but people discussing PL players and those linked in the press are doing no harm.

I thought City had signed him and let him go to Sociedad on loan....

City signed him, loaned him to Sociedad in the summer, sold him in January but I think hold a low buy-back. Can see him going there in the summer.

CB: Maguire

CB: Keane

CAM: Rooney

LW: Jese

ST: Callum Wilson

Second ST: Leigh Griffiths

that to me actually makes us weaker rather than stronger, they'd be players (bar rooney and jese) that you'd expect someone like stoke to buy.
