If Barkley/Mcarthy move that may free up some more dosh?Walsh must have his list of forward targets. I doubt Koeman would be happy without that striker, I just can't see Rooney/DCL and Sandro leading the line all season.

I think the way it's going atm I'd put a big bid in for Jorgensen. He's got great approach play and seems like he can finish. A bit of a risk but I think he'd at worst be decent and he's got quick feet for such a big guy

Unless we're interested in other players we're not aware of our options are looking a bit slim atm, barring us having more money than we expect.

Think it's more a case of clubs selling a top centre forward without having a replacement lined up

That's why the whole Giroud thing was exciting. It never seemed likely but he was ideal.

If we can't get a guaranteed target man/goalscorer like Giroud I'd rather we took a big punt on a younger unproven type like Dembele or Dolberg than wasting money on someone average just for a body. Knowing what happened last year with Valencia, I think we'll wait it out and see if any potential big deals become available on deadline day!
