Ego isn't a bad thing... all the best players have it. With the strikers that are available he seems to be the most realistic and affordable... if Chelsea want ross maybe we can use that to swing the deal

....with 9 days and 16 hours of the window left, the transfer rumour columns continue to look a bit sparse this Tuesday morning;
- Speaking to Sky Sports, Ronald Koeman said he hopes Everton's transfer business isn't done because he would still like a left sided defender who can also provide cover at LB and a CF, despite the fine form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
- According to the Telegraph, Spurs are finally preparing a bid believed to be £20m plus £8m in add-ons for Everton midfielder, Ross Barkley. Tottenham and Chelsea lead the hunt, the Telegraph suggest Chelsea could offer the player £100k per week. The Express say Chelsea could hijack Tottenham's Barkley pursuit.
- Soccer America Daily is reporting USA U16 goalkeeper, Nicolas Defreitas-Hansen, has joined Everton's academy programme from Florida's Weston FC. The club has a growing reputation for producing young international keepers.
- Royal Blue Mersey pick up on the report that Everton are one of 7 clubs interested in Arsenal striker, Lucas Perez.
- The Daily Mail says Everton outcast, Oumar Niasse, is in talks over a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce.
- Turin newspaper Tuttosport report Everton have joined Stoke and West Ham in enquiring about Juventus midfielder, Stefano Sturaro.

Vardy would add another dimension to us but would cost too much. It's a 'no' from me. DCL can be a lot better and already is in terms of hold up play
It's a pretty beautiful language, the English language. There's many many ways to communicate with it, tell a joke with it and express anger/frustration with it that don't involve continuing dumb racial stereotypes and straight up abuse. I get along just fine without all that. I honestly don't think it's that hard to do so.
You don't think too much of the working class if you are using that as an excuse to be honest. I'd be pretty sure Vardy wouldn't have given a second thought to what he had said if he hadn't been caught out. You'd get banned on here for stuff like that....as did that poster in the Coutinho thread.
On topic. Sign 3 strikers and then just sell the two that don't work out in January.
