I always wonder why we refer to people from Afghanistan as Afghans but people are offended by societies so called derogatory nomenclature of people from Pakistan. Afghanistan land of the Afghan. Pakistan......

The suffix Stan meaning land of. There's one to ponder in a transfer rumour thread

Mainly because the use of the word was corrupted and became a word to describe anyone who looked like they came from that region mate, most corner shop owners where it became a slang word for their shops where actually Bangladeshi for example.

Wow. Just wow. Corner shop owners !

After watching last night's game, maybe Perez would be a good option. He'd offer a bit of pace that I think we are lacking up top and a bit of movement.

I thought DCL was fantastic last night but what it showed was even when he held the ball up, support wasn't exactly in abundance so if we are going to try and hit teams on the break/counter then maybe Perez would be a good option

Edit maybe Sandro will be this option

Not alone being racist though are they?

Or they'd be Han Solo. (Gets coat)

Get out - please don't come back.

Seriously though, everyone is racist to an extent - we all have preconceived notions of what Italians, Spanish, Americans, Irish, Scottish, Southerners are like. generalisations exist because either they are true, or they were true at one part of history, or that have been true in the subset that you've been exposed to, or they're false in order to undermine. There can also be positive racism, which people tend to overlook.

Anyway I wouldn't buy any Ghanaians, they're fecking lazy and don't play for the shirt (based on Alex Nyarko).

Well over 30. There are also a lot of words that people thought were appropriate a long time ago that aren't now. But hey, you ask an Asian dude what they think. Feel free to compare them to a food product while you're at it.

Regardless, Vardy like Costa is just a prick and don't really want either around the club. That's all.

Vardy would be a shrewd signing. Had plenty of idiots here in the past as long as they produce on the day of the races then I couldn't give a monkeys. Not the olden days where we'd share a jar post match. These days the divide between us and them(players) is wider than ever.

I never said I was the person that seems what is and isn't racist (I didn't realise there was a racist finder general). My experience is that the majority of people don't use racist terminology, it may be different in your circles, but in mine they don't. Racism is an aspect of 'political correctness' but let's not confuse the two. One has a defined categorisation and the other is very broad in scope.

Feel free to prove my racism - it may be I need to reeducate myself.

Hooligan, vandal, bugger, all words with a racist origin to them mate, many many more to add to those, but it just shows how the use of words changes over the years - and the offence taken to those words... Ever used the word Eskimo - rather than Inuit? Or called someone Uppity?

If your a scouser, ever heard or called a police van called a paggy wagon?

I will stand by the assertion that nearly every single person will have as an adult deliberately or by accident used some form of racist language or phrases.

Anyway who we signing laar?
