I've only ever seen him for Germany and he's always looked good. Sometime though that can give a false impression because he's surrounded by great players. Not sure what he's like domestically.

It was never my view, but I was merely pointing out that some people, such as the people who raised this with you initially, consider it to be a rum word to use and that they would take issue with it

As you can see from Andy's timely intervention regarding another posters comments, Mods do indeed take this sort of thing seriously, and there were certainly a couple of posters raising issue with what you said, so I was trying to diffuse the situation. That's all
