Summer Transfer Window 2017

After that pile of crap today it is clear that there is still work to be done in the transfer market.

A striker who can be the focal point of the team, capable of holding the ball and bringing his team mates into play and finishing off chances created.

A wide player who can provide width, pace and creativity.

Someone else who can dominate midfield. A proper hard get. Someone not to be messed with who strikes fear in the heart of the opposition.

Over to you Ronkoe and Walsh.

Just saying like but according to Ronnie goodlass he has been told someone big this week.
Encouraging. However I always felt we'd do a good amount of business in the days after the Europa league qualification was decided and before the deadline.

I assume not only did players want assurances of Europe but the board wanted to make sure we weren't overloading the squad.

We must get a striker in, end of.

RK has just been emphasizing the point (correctly) again but it can't be allowed to become a crutch on which the whole season stands or falls, whether we get one or not.

Today pretty much shows why this summers transfer strategy seemed insane. Rooney, attacking midfielder. Klassen, attacking midfielder. Sigurdsson, attacking midfielder. They all want to move in to the middle. We have no width and no pace for teams like today.

Keane and Pickford are pretty boss tho.

He says he wants to spread the goals around but plays 2 centre backs with no pace so we cant play a high line (to attack teams in force) and end up sitting deep to compensate for their weaknesses (leaving one isolated forward).

Madness not so sign another centre back...should have been a priority after Pickford and Keane.

Sign Vardy and sign Dendoncker as cover for those games when Schneiderlin misses and as a partner at cb for Keane in the others
