there are still gaping holes in our team, Koeman has pointed out two of them but in truth i think there is more. I hope we can get in some real quality before the window ends

they're not gaping. Calm down, just a few dents. If it weren't for mori's injury we'd have plenty of numbers for centre back, we still do. We just now need one more body. Same as striker, we still have 3 strikers, we just need another quality addition there. Injuries are part of football, we've had cruel luck in that regard, just got to make do for the time being, we can't go out and buy replacements for everyone that's injured, we can only submit a squad list of 25.

Just don't see the point of loaning Costa until January.

world class striker who will win us games for a few months and it gives us extra time to get a permanent replacement in january, certainly better than going with what we have.

In which game was that mate, the one he played 3 minutes in as a late sub, or the 25 min sub appearance next game - when they where 4-1 up, or the 1 minute sub appearance the next game, or the 28 minutes when they where already 6-1 up and he came on as a sub?

He's played 56 minutes in 4 sub appearances so far, and only brought on when the game was already well won or as a time wasting sub when they where narrowly ahead.

Ok, well he's not looked out of place regardless. But their breaking him in but soon enough he'll be a starter there!....

I would prefer a top class on a permanent deal but there's very little time left . With Ron constantly nudging the board in every interview, I suspect they are dragging their heels .
Imagine if Costa comes here , scores loads of goals and falls in love with the club and wants to stay.
A gamble worth taking ?
We are a very sexy club and lots of players who have come here fall in love with us.

No doubt were interested or have been but I can't see it with Dzeko. He's happy there and their main man up front. Roma are on the verge of signing Schick on loan and I think a lot have put 2 & 2 together and come up with 10.....
