Yeah, his highlight video wasn't great. Mostly assists to missed chances and dribbles that cut off straight away so you assume there was no end product. That said, one of the best highlight videos I ever saw was the 1 for Deulofeu before he signed. Made him look like Messi/Ronaldo hybrid, but playing for Everton, I can't remember him ever doing 1 piece of skill that came close to what was in the video, so means very little.

Can't really say any of the Split players stood out in either of the games. People saying Barry stood out, I think that's mostly because he was called Barry and we had a player called Barry as well. Said stood out to me because he missed a pen and was ruthlessly booed by the home fans till he was substituted.

In fairness though, if I was a Split fan, I wouldn't really say any of our players stood out either. Both games were pretty terrible.

Gets pretty iffy down the bottom there obviously but that's a loooot of talented young players. That's only including players who (I think) we've either bought, or have had senior experience somewhere. Monaco's change in strategy a few years ago was basically 'get loads of great kids and assume a bunch will make it', so hopefully our long-term recruitment is better than our short-term.

Pretty much the same speed as everywhere mate.

Well since moving house I'm rarely in my house. Don't get to work from home quite as much now you see? Which I'm sure you can understand is a right bummer.

But I'd still say the hours run roughly the same length wherever I am. I did enjoy the long weekend just past though.
