i'm a positive person but if we don't sign a striker all the good work this window will be forgotten. i was expecting to hear some solid links today but nothing so far although the BBC are saying Cardif have rejected an enquiry from us for their young striker?

Downie also said Demebele was at FF. Like the guy and i think the Blueroom is great but he's not got a clue and he seems very much a glass half empty type. I think he's just preparing for the worst because that's what we Evertonians do.

RK know Rom was leaving last March.
He showed a bit of leg to Rooney and Keane and piqued their interest
He obviously agreed a fee with United for Rom and had Rooney included on the deal.
He then decided to spend that money before the Rom sale was announced so we would not get bent over on prices
With the money he went and bought Keane ,Pickford, Klassen ,Sandro and Siggy.
All deals were probably agreed before or shortly after the season ended
Swansea obviously had a change of heart over the fee but it was done in the end.

He seemed to have all the angles covered and all his ducks in a row
However the world and his brother as well as RK knew a striker was needed so was there one lined up and something happened to de-rail his plans.
Was all his eggs in the Giroud basket ,
doubtful as there had to be a plan B if the deal wasn't nailed on early.
Did Barkley's injury and failure to command a fee put a dent in his budget ?
Did the failure to sell other players put a dent in his budget.
Did Funes Mori getting injured mean his had to split his striker budget in half ?
All a bit strange to get all those signings and no striker to replace the main outgoing of the window.
If it's a question of money why not use the Chinese Credit facility till Barkley or others are sold
Why doesn't Moshiri put his hand in his pocket if it's a cash issue?
Can't see why such an obvious flaw wasn't sorted earlier
RK Walsh and Moshiri are too experienced, too clever to not have foreseen some hiccups along the way.
It just seems funny to be thrashing around for last minute signings / loans when everything else was conducted with precision.

Weasel Habitats
Weasels are adaptive little fellows and can get along pretty much anywhere as long as there is sufficient food and water. They make their homes within an average 30-acre radius in the woods, coniferous forests, sand dunes, grasslands and moors. They're listed among a group of animals collectively called urban wildlife; animals who have been pushed out of their native habitats and are now forced to live around humans in order to survive. They are crepuscular and often seen living near farmhouses along the roads in states where they are prevalent. Much to the chagrin of many farmers, weasels are capable of raiding hen houses.
