Replacing a 90m striker with a 5m one.

A big club wouldn't have sold to a direct rival for starters. But to be gambling on a deadline day punt coming off is pretty pathetic. It's old everton. It's not really good enough.

Never sell your best player without a replacement. It doesn't work surprise surprise.

Important not to panic. If the right striker is not available I would rather we keep,our powder dry then spunk silly money on a Troy Deeney type

Indeed, I imagine someone will come in, even if it's on loan. The extra body up top wouldn't half help with the amount of games we'll have.

We look really unpredictable at the moment and I'm not overly certain who will play, nice to have so many options presently and hopefully that additional striker we bring in has qualities we are currently missing.

The thought in here has been, for a while now, that we're not looking at a striker (or anyone else for that matter). Why? Why do you think that way? Cos they, as a club, Everton FC, have to tell y'all what they're up to? Diego on loan? Ok. So does that mean we aren't looking for someone else too? There's been so many transfer deadline days where we've all sat down and watched til 12 just hoping for a 'kin loan. Think we might just do some business. Don't be surprised if we pull off some major shizz on D-D.
