Will laugh my head off if we get a positive net spend. Will be worse than anything Kenwright ever did for us. Not only will Moshiri have got rid of three of our biggest talents (four if you include Stones, and add him to Barkley, Deulofeu and above all Lukaku), but he'll have made a healthy profit by weakening our squad and turning us into a middle-of-the-table outfit.
You sound as if you're enjoying this mate. Here's a question for you. Would you prefer?

a). Everton bring in a boss striker and CB before deadline tomorrow and go on to post a serious challenge to top 4 this season.

b) See the club bring in 2 average players to fill the CF/CB posts, either on loan or for nominal fees. At the same time sell Barkley Macca plus others for decent money and thereby confirm your sell to buy theory.

And here was me thinking Lukaku,Stones and Barkley wanted away themselves. In fact it must be pretty quiet around Finch Farm without Lukaku bleating on about wanting a move to a CL club on an international break weekend.

I think Ron does rate him and wanted to keep him with the fact he was offered a new contract.
Seems odd that it was allowed to drag on this long before an offer was made.

Normally I understand them trying to get the best possible fee, but it was their decision to let his contract get into its last year; and at this late stage I'd sooner take a financial hit and put the money towards a serious bid for a striker before the window shuts.

Nobody will pay hard cash for Niasse IMO, he will go out on loan for a million or so.

We may get lucky and get money for McCarthy who is a waste of space now, but his injuries may stop that, Barkley will probably go for around 35 if the initial 25 has been rejected, Mirallas will be a nominal fee or a loan, Robles similar, Lennon for 3-5 million too.

Reckon its going to be the busiest transfer day the club have ever seen.
