Summer Transfer Window 2017

Moshiri has been talking up a good game for a while now.

If we don't get a decent forward It's just playing for 7th place.

If we had any ambition we would have lined up a replacement before lukaku left. Months and months ago.

Bill chatting garbage as per usual with we have the funds to get any player the manager desires.

This mess should have been sorted months ago.

The lukaku fee of 75m looks a steal when they're rejecting 130m for mr inconsistency coutinho.

If we were not getting a direct replacement for lukaku why didn't we hold out as long as possible to get even more money as big teams got desperate late on in the window.

Did is no favours getting shut early if we already had the money for our target( a big if like).

We could of had Costa/Giroud/Benteke/Dembele/Anyone, but Omaur Niasse is very much a part of the Everton family, and we value that very highly here at Everton

Dave Seed indicating it's Werner we are in for. Be great that I think but I'm not optimistic, they're hard to deal with. I do think the whole window thing has been turned in to a big marketing exercise by Sky and the media - everyone talks about it, everyone is glued to the telly. I actually believe deals are held back to make the occasion more 'fun'. Not the time to have a go at the board or anyone yet, see what we finish with tomorrow evening - plenty of late deals happen completely out of the blue, so let's just wait and see.

Is it at all possible, that given the breadth of coverage on Deadline Day, that fact that big signings on the last day seem to be remembered more than many of the earlier ones, that the player/agents or even clubs postpone a deal in order to get maximum exposure?

possibly, but normally we get rumours about potential deals...and nowt is happening

Lukaku on loan, plus he wasn't their main man. No club is going to out of the blue sell us the main striker on deadline day.

Thats a very good point.
If we are going for a centre forward who is first choice at the team they are at, they are going to need to find a replacement.
Cant see us getting anyone decent now, as teams will be reluctant to sell
