I think that may have been more to do with a total lack of transfer budget.

NO mate but the clock is ticking and no striker imminent at this time - add Deeney in to that mix and you have links with all 3 forwards from a team that couldnt score for love nor money last season, except when we played them naturally !!

Question for those on here: If we get in a good striker tomorrow, take your favorite of Costa, Zapata, or Batshuayi, and NOTHING else happened, would you be happy?

I don't think I'll ever really be "happy" with Everton transfers but I would take one of those as sole signing if offered now.

Hard to see us coping without another striker but we could probably stumble through till January without CB cover.

The Excuse makers ran amok in the early part of the transfer window destroying the bedwetters offensive lines and victory look all but assured as the likes of Rooney, Keane, Pickford and Klassen arrived.

But, since then the bedwetters have regrouped and are ready to use its Okaka battering ram to smash through the defensive lines of the Excuse makers tomorrow.

It will be the battle to end all battles.

Bedwetters will do well combined with fumers...

...The Guardian reporting Omar Niasse is on Crystal Palace's radar. They also say the asking price is £10m.

Saw a thread on him on a Palace forum the other day - one poster saying they wanted him but would prefer Shane Long (poor Shane)!

Also, why isn't anyone here mentioned him yet this window...
