Can't see any prospect of the likes of him or Benteke getting done, no chance.

Costa is more of a possibility than I first thought, remote, but let's see what tomorrow brings.

I don't think some people realise that unless it's massive money, clubs have no time to replace any of these players we hope to sign.

Anyone who saw what happened with Naby Keita should know that Red Bull are not selling their star players this summer. They want to establish themselves in the champions league and push on in the Bundesliga. £70 million is worthless when you can't reinvest it. Palace would face a similar scenario with Benteke.

Unless we've been working on something behind the scenes for a while, we're getting someone "acceptable". Nothing more. And make no mistake our good work so far will be undone.

Maybe the speed that he ingested made his brain infested and caused to impede clear thought after his very last snort and he did not knowingly jested with us in blue but thought his thought was true when in fact it was phish.
