Vermaelen - Meh wont play much if at all
Jimenez - not exciting - might sell some shirts in Mexico
Batshuyai - Would be outstanding
Mahrez - no F-ing chance
Costa - no F-ing chance
Vlassic - always say yes to a pickle
Dendonker - maybe the consolation prize

Any 3 of the above would make life interesting.......

To loan Vermaelen, it means we would play more 3 back in this season. RK wants his ball using to improve 3 back to pass the ball to midfield...
But how about Wing back? Our Wing back is not good enough to play 3 back and we only have baines to be good enough to play LWB.

It doesn't mean that at all. Just means we have another CB that has better skills than all of them. If he can stay healthy, he probably plays ahead of Williams, certainly against particular sides.

If we dont play 3 back, we have 4-5 CB now...and Mori probably will be back before year end.
Dont think we really need a more pace slow defender but if it is a younger defender, I will be welcome to replace williams next year.

I'd say Batshuayi is a bit more than decent. Would literally be the equivalent of the year we got Lukaku on loan.

Vermalean could go either way. As long as it is a loan, then it is relatively risk free. Could end up playing 2 games, or marshaling our defence for the next 9 months.

oh id be very pleased with getting Batshuayi, I meant decent in terms of him and Vermalean together haha as Vermalean is a short term bandaid for us as opposed to a starting CB for the future which is less exciting

We have 4. Holgate MAYBE can play in a back 3. But TV if healthy is a significant improvement over Williams and has great skills. He's a bit different than what we have.
