Summer Transfer Window 2017

Abraham would flop in the prem imo scoring in the lower divisions means nothing Dwight Gayle is prolific in the championship. The only realistic player I would take as part of the Rom deal is Batshuyai.

Batshuyai + £65 million and I would take that.
So by your reckoning Delli Alli doesnt hack it in the Prem then.

And Batshuyai really isnt all that , far better out there.

You remind me of a previous poster on here ...Adversus....any relation ?

Butland is a fine keeper, but he's just come back from a terrible injury that's kept him out for over a year. It's too much of a risk at present (this summers transfer window) to see if he has overcome this injury. If he recaptures the form before his injury, it's a yes from me, maybe next January, but it is a big if!

i think for the stupid fees being branded about i would expect a buffon for about 15 years, butland isn't close to that. United, spurs and chelsea have utterly fantastic keepers, world class names, we need to be aiming for something close to that level imo, i think pickford would be a lot closer to that level than butland will within 5 years, for example. Ideally though, europe is where we should be looking for value for money.

so you're valuing Batshuyai at 35m when he hasn't played this season?

Hows this for a scenario?

Rom sold in exchange for Abraham and 70m.

Rooney on a free
Belotti/Lacazette 40m
Valencia 12m

I think I would take that in a heart beat and in my eyes v realistic.

Abraham
Rooney
Belotti/Lacazette
Valencia

Not bad front four options.

Abraham would be great, we should also go for Dolberg and Belotti is a beast.

Rooney, Valencia = waste of money
Lacazette = overrated

Saw William Jose score a good header to win the game for Real Sociedad this weekend.

Not a bad choice but not top, top drawer like Lukaku on his day.

We're not going to replace the top scoter in the league with a 19 year old don't worry. If he's genuinely being offered as part of a deal, maybe we have shown an interest in him already?

We are very short for decent strikers, we will be after at least two regardless of what happens with Lukaku.
