Barkley is finished at Everton, clear as day.

No lad, he's one of us, he's a blue, he loves the club, he's a diamond, he wants to further his career, he wants CL football.....that's why the little toerag turned down Chelsea......we must not sell him in January, just let him rot away for a year, miss the World Cup and see how he gets on..... if he signed a new contract for us tomorrow I'd do exactly the same...

So out of all the players we all spoke about leaving ( because they wanted to leave or they are crap )

Robles - hasn't found a club
Barry - no one wanted him to leave
Barkley - knobhead
Lukaku - sold
Niasse - sold ( is that confirmed)
McCarthy - no interest

Vlasic is a good signing but not really the signing we need, it's great we've got a fantastic midfield to provide balls, but those balls are going nowhere without a Striker :(

Why would Walsh be getting sacked?

What is Walsh's role? He is either getting paid to state the obvious (Sign a proven striker who everybody knows about anyway) or he is being paid to find some promising bargains, which would be Vlasic, Onyekeru and Sandro which he has done.

He would be the last person to blame for me.

Onyekeru will give you but a lot of people knew about Sandro and what he sat there and watched Vlasic at Goodison. Top work that from Walsh!

Calvert-Lewin will get a lot of game time between now and January then. It sounded like Moshiri was trying to gloss over the failure to get a striker in, perhaps we were banking on the 35 mill for Barkley to finance a deal, for a striker, who knows. To be perfectly honest I am more concerned by our lack of left sided defenders.
Same here. The front line can sort itself out between Sandro, DCL and Rooney.
But our defence? Pickford and Keane are good, but the rest are due for the knackers factory. The LHS is a potential shambles
