I'm surprised people are surprised.

This board is consistent, they always let the manager down.

Koeman will be steaming.

He's been saying the striker and left sided defender is with the board.

Absolute circus.

Rip this season.

Yes, Koeman will be fuming. Same as last year. If the board thinks we can finish in top 6 then they're deluded. Can't wait for Koemans reaction.

Why would Walsh be getting sacked?

What is Walsh's role? He is either getting paid to state the obvious (Sign a proven striker who everybody knows about anyway) or he is being paid to find some promising bargains, which would be Vlasic, Onyekeru and Sandro which he has done.

He would be the last person to blame for me.
Who is responsible for buying first team players if not our director of football? Koeman has been saying we need a forward and a left sided centre half for weeks, so if it was up to him we would have bought them.

Are you ready for this...

July 26th - "We have lost (Ramiro) Funes Mori to a knee injury and I am looking to replace him. We lost Romelu Lukaku and brought in Sandro Ramirez but we are trying to sign another striker and maybe one more."

August 3rd - "We need two more front players"

August 11th - "But still now we really have one striker, in my opinion ... “But compare that to the big teams and what they have on the bench or even in the stands and it is a big difference to Everton."

August 16th - "We still need to sign a striker."

August 21st - "We are looking for a left-footed central defender, maybe as back-up for Leighton Baines ... Also a striker because I think even with the talent of Dominic and Ramirez, look to other squads. They have that number of players. If we need to make the next step we need a striker in as well."

August 26th - "We need at least two more players to get numbers in, but the most important thing is to get a striker in,"

I hope Ronald walks away from this shambles. He will be absolutely fuming, I hope he hasn't had a drink tonight.

Get that completely useless waste of money Steve Walsh straight into the bin. What a terrible appointment.

Farhad Moshiri please stop chatting wham to Jim White and just get on with building a competitive football club, clear out the board room and sort yourself out.

Careful with that shout friend. You might get called a Kopite or a negative tool, no alternative opinions allowed here.

I've supported Everton through thick and thin, I've sat through
Got a feeling there'll be some more stadium "news" this week.........

Got a feeling I'm going to stop supporting this shambles of a club this week. The relationship between Koeman and the board is now, surely, beyond repair. This is going to be 1998/99 all over again, but I'm buggered if I know where our "Super Kev" is coming from.

He may have done the business by getting Bowler and Gibson and possibly the Fulham lad if he was done in time. None of us know anything about them and they may be stars of the future.

That's all great but we need players to play now. Ridiculous not to get a forward in. So weak up top. Can't see where the goals are coming from.

Probably an unpopular opinion but this has been an effective window. Huge turnover, at least half the starting 11, can't integrate much more than that in one go.

Yes we missed out on a number 9 but clearly there wasn't an option that could be made to work - we're far from only club not to.get everything we want/need.

For years we've cried out for early signings and this time we did it. Problem is that then gets forgotten about and we want more. Imagine our early July business had all happened this last week instead - we'd be over the moon.

Let's get going again after the break and see where we are at end Oct. COYB.
