Reading some of the ridiculous comments on here I really wonder how many posters on here these days are genuine Blues

I remember some of the 90s dark times, selling our best players and buying no one. We have done well a striker would have been nice but it's the hardest position to buy, we should have made Lukaku exit more difficult for him, I blame the Barkleys situation on him I think he turned Ross's head.

Sandro & Klaasen need time to find the pace of EPL. Sigurdsson needs a few weeks to get fit. Keane & Pickford improve hugely on last season. Coleman & Bolasie back soon.
Davies, Lookman, Holgate, DCL a year older & maybe a couple more ready to break through.

OK, of course we needed a centre forward & Left CB, but if the targets we wanted weren't available, better to wait till Jan than spunk good money on panic buys.

We need to hope Sigurðsson, Rooney, klaassen and Sandro have many goals in them.

Take out the biggest issue with no striker and I still worry a lot about the lack of pace and a second option on the bench.

I think we will fare better than some expect. But- we left two huge gaps in the squad and missed an opportunity to reinforce the back line. Can we expect a 19 year-old from Croatia to come into the league and set it afire? Hell no. We will be exposed unless Koeman decides to be a man and field a team that can actually compete. We don't know what we couldn't attract a striker, as we don't really know who we did and didn't approach. All we know is that Lukaku told us he wasn't signing a new contract in March, and we then sold him well over 1 month ago, and yet here we are without a replacement. That's a failure.

it's not moshiri's fault. He pays the bills, he's not our chief scout or manager.
