Lol i never said im going to stop supporting Everton

Just i think its time to not be so emotionally invested to be consistantly let down by the wolf tickets the clubs narrative is trying to sell to us

I meet so many footy fans who just dont care i wanna be one of them lol
Thing you need to wean yourself off is the likes of this forum, where somebody on Twitter makes a wild guess, then hoardes of beauts take it as gospel, then want to form a lynch mob when the Twitter bullshit turns out to be just that, bullshit?

Spurs sign Llorente for £14m? What is that about?

Everton should have held some appeal for him with ex team mates Sigurdsson and Williams here - and the opportunity to be first choice striker rather than second fiddle to Kane

And how did they get Swansea to part with him so cheaply - after our ordeal with Sigurdsson? A strange one and a missed opportunity for us i feel

Oh we'll - at least we have Niasse...

Maybe we tried to sign him?

Not exactly a shock that he'd join Spurs rather than us.

Fell asleep after the first visit to finch farm confirming vlasic.

Genuinely in shock that the two positions we desperately needed have not been filled.

Not about 'gelling' we are SHORT!

With three games a week coming up, we have one actual striker and Rooney and Sandro and niasse and if I was him, why would I want to please Koeman!?

I really rate DCL but one injury to him and we have problems.

Don't get me started on the defence...

I want to stay positive but we need to play much more positively than we have been.

One good thing is the confidence that will now be instilled in our youth to push on and prove their place before January.

Just seen connolly has gone. What the bloody hell.

I truly don't know what to make of yesterday. I'm not close to fuming like last year. We didn't embarrass ourselves with pathetic bids that didn't come off. We didn't panic buy a big standard player for more than they worse to appease the fans. BUT, we might have a major issue up front.... then again.

Maybe this is what Sandro and DCL need to progress. We just need Koeman to believe in them and not leave them isolated. Sandro is not that player and it won't be his fault if he left chasing shadows.

I don't know what to make of Barkley... I had a go at him a few weeks ago for being the first Evertonian I couldn't understand why he was pushing for a move and not talking to the fans... this is worse now as the club probably loses a lot of money. BUT, it was a bit of fun to see Chelsea being messed around at the last minute. In my previous rant Chelsea was the one club I could accept he goes to as it was a clear step up... so funny how it all works out.. saga long from over.

That Vlasic lad is also prett exciting. Another youth galactico who might take us by storm. I like a positive outlook on these young guys.

For me more if the success this season is in Koemans hands how he sets up the team that one player not coming in.

And also - why is it that we can attract top players in the other positions but struggle to attract strikers? It was the same last summer - missing out on Gabbiadini, Perez etc

...Llorente is 32 and it sounds like Swansea wanted to shift him and bring in Bony. The attraction of living in London for foreign players and their families is significant. I also suspect we had reached the bottom of our spend envelope and the acquisition of a striker and/or defender was dependent on Barkley leaving.

Is the reason we did not get a striker because there was no more honey left in the pot, that is the question.

If Barkley had signed for Chelsea, would we now have one or two more players?
