He would have been available for same fee as Keane. City didn't want to pay..

King isn't ideal but he was a safe option once we had ran into huge difficulties with a replacement. Signing no striker at all looks stupider by the day.

West Brom knocked back £25m bids from Arsenal and Leicester for Evans, but don't let facts get in the way.

King has scored 1 goal this season, so how can you say he'd have been ideal?
