Summer Transfer Window 2017

How did willian jose and sandro fare?

..I only watched the first half. Sandro led the line but was hardly involved. The little bits he done were ok, he was mobile but there was nothing to report on what I saw. Jose was more involved, probably because he was playing for the home team. One watcher was impressed with Jose but I couldn't provide an informed view.

Lots reckoning Sandro is a done deal;

I'm quite happy with that.

Sigurdsson looks one of the most nailed on transfers for any team this summer (to us)

High enough rep that we'd be interested, but stock not high enough that anyone will come in above us as the same guaranteed place in the starting 11 we'd offer

Him and Sandro for 30m combined, Cleverley, McGeady and McCarthy out for 30m combined - overall good business

...do well to get £20m for McCarthy but we'll see. Agree about Sigurdsson, any competition is likely to come from clubs below rather than above us. I suppose there is a chance that he stays now that Swansea have stayed up but you would hope he showed his loyalty and did his bit by staying in January.

Hopefully we get some if not all of walsh's early picks. However, where I think the window could get interesting for us Is later in the window. Those players surplus to requirement at teams in the top 6and whom want to stay in the prem. Chelsea arsenal spurs for example I thought were relatively restrained last summer, and United and City will want to make statements of intent again (obviously we don't generally buy of the rs). Can't be arsed drafting a list but I think an opportunity could present itself.

The barcodes will pay it mate, fat waiter wants him badly. Think sigurddson will want to move as its probably his last real chance to go to a team in Europe etc.

Will be a very weird summer as quite possibly every team besides spurs could end up losing the player perceived as their best

United - DeGea looks set to join Madrid
Arsenal - both Sanchez and Ozil could be off - Sanchez seems almost certain
Chelsea - Costa off to China
Liverpool - Coutinho off to Barca
City - Aguero could very well leave
Us - Lukaku may well leave

What I like about Klaasen in this video clip is his ability to score from close to goal (finding the right gap/angle) and distance. He also looks a bit like Naissy! ;)

red echo have mentioned him again this morning saying Koeman thinks he's a very interesting player.

Every time I've seen him he has always stood out........as he looks like Naismiths twin brother lol

Hopefully he would be a shrewd acquisition and if we get him in it will be early doors.
